The Warehouse Coordinator Lead will be responsible for pulling all orders while maintaining a productive level of performance. They will also assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and a safe inventory level. What You’ll Do Performs monthly inventory count and assist coordinator for analyzing discrepancy of inventory Maintains pick record accurately and report any discrepancy to coordinator if found Keeps warehouse area sanitary and neat - Shares in minor repair work and housekeeping responsibilities for the work area Reviews daily shipment schedule and, in discussion with other warehouse team members, plans and prioritizes daily work schedule to meet customer delivery requirements. Alerts team members to any special truck loading configuration or customer delivery requirements Leads start-of-shift safety meeting to discuss any injuries from the previous day, safety trends at the facility, and any hazards likely to be encountered in upcoming shift activity Checks specification sheets and other written instructions to meet customer specifications. Personally checks pallets of product on first shipment to a new customer and rides with trailer truck driver on the first delivery to meet customer receiving personnel and assure satisfactory shipment of first order Reviews daily inventory of finished goods in warehouse against anticipated delivery schedules to minimize amount of handling and damage to finished product Leads team members in conducting daily safety check of forklift trucks, restraining systems for tractor trailer trucks, and maintenance needs of over-the-road trucks. Leads checking of conveyor equipment and automatic nesting equipment
