Warehouse Attendant
About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Attendant with a positive attitude to join our team at GrowNScale. The Warehouse Attendant will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Responsibilities include assisting with loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and hand tools, and performing various tasks to support daily operations. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who takes initiative, works independently without needing constant direction, and consistently contributes to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Warehouse Attendant or in a similar role is preferred
- Experienced forklift operator with proficiency in handling heavy freight
- Must be able to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (both propane and electric)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethictakes initiative without waiting for instructions
- Demonstrated positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification is a strong plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing warehouse materials
- Operate forklifts, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean, maintain, and organize work areas to ensure an orderly warehouse environment
- Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed to support operations
- Follow supervisor instructions while also taking initiative to identify and complete tasks independently
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe, hazard-free warehouse environment
- Contribute to team success through proactive support, collaboration, and a positive work ethic
- Complete tasks promptly to maintain operational efficiency and warehouse flow
