The successful candidate will be safety-minded, goal-oriented, cost and quality-driven. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: stocking and inventory control of warehouse items, cycle counting, receiving, shipping, assisting delivery personnel, contractors, and teammates in locating needed parts and supplies, operating mobile equipment, processing computer transactions, housekeeping, and a variety of other tasks related to the successful operation of the Warehouse. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Working experience with Microsoft Office Products and business-related data entry systems
  • Able to successfully pass mobile equipment requirements
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical industrial parts
  • Working knowledge and experience with maintenance and inventory management systems
  • Warehouse/logistics experience
