The Warehouse Associate role involves maintaining receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures. Responsibilities also include controlling inventory levels through physical counts, maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse by planning layouts and inspecting equipment, and operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to properly place products and materials. The associate will also load and log materials onto trucks, make notations of returned materials, prepare jobs and materials for all crews, clean trucks (both inside and out), and deliver materials or transport employees to job sites, along with other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 1-2 years Warehouse experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Must know safe warehouse practices
- Must be willing to deliver product between offices on daily basis
- Forklift experience required
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of home remodeling products or construction materials is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift to place products and materials in proper place
- Load and log materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials
- Prepare jobs and materials for all crews
- Clean trucks (both inside and out)
- Deliver material/transporting employees to job sites
- Other duties as assigned
