About The Position

This position is for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate, with start times including 5a-1:30p est, 6a-2:30p est, and 7a-3:30p est, with possible mandatory overtime. The role offers an hourly wage starting at $19.15, with increases over 3, 6 months, 1, 2, and 3 years, reaching up to $23.80. DC/Warehouse Associates are crucial to the warehouse operations, assisting with tasks such as picking, packing, and staging parts, utilizing hand-held radio frequency devices (RF scanners), and moving boxes throughout the distribution center.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Marks pallets with identifying store information.
• Uses the computer / RF to enter records.
• Uses equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
• Uses voice picking system
• Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.
• Will be required to use a hand held radio frequency device (R.F. Unit)
• Consistent, reliable attendance
• Other related duties as assigned.
