About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane, and construction tools. This role requires completing work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely, and without damage. The associate will also assist co-workers and customers, inspect materials, products, machinery, tools, and equipment, and assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system. Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment, assisting in the movement of inventory, and complying with all safety requirements and using applicable personal protective equipment are also key aspects of the position.

Requirements

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
High school diploma or GED required
Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

Responsibilities

Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location
