This position is responsible for the receipt, documentation, and movement of inventory and non-inventory items within the plant and from outside sources. It also involves performing labeling and shipping functions as needed. The role operates on a second shift, from 12pm to 10:30pm, Sunday through Wednesday. Key duties include unloading trucks, lifting heavy items, operating a forklift, unpacking and checking received goods against purchase orders or invoices, and maintaining records. The associate will transfer materials to various areas, document transfers in computerized systems, and confirm inventory accuracy. Other tasks involve examining, stocking, and distributing materials, filling requisitions, generating and applying labels, scheduling raw material deliveries, packing and loading materials for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role also assists with shipping and receiving finished products and may involve inventory counts, participation in quality programs (SCAR, NOE, EOE, CAPA), writing SOPs, and interacting with vendors and contractors, all while adhering to established safety practices and cGMP environment standards.
