About The Position

This position is responsible for the receipt, documentation, and movement of inventory and non-inventory items within the plant and from outside sources. It also involves performing labeling and shipping functions as needed. The role operates on a second shift, from 12pm to 10:30pm, Sunday through Wednesday. Key duties include unloading trucks, lifting heavy items, operating a forklift, unpacking and checking received goods against purchase orders or invoices, and maintaining records. The associate will transfer materials to various areas, document transfers in computerized systems, and confirm inventory accuracy. Other tasks involve examining, stocking, and distributing materials, filling requisitions, generating and applying labels, scheduling raw material deliveries, packing and loading materials for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role also assists with shipping and receiving finished products and may involve inventory counts, participation in quality programs (SCAR, NOE, EOE, CAPA), writing SOPs, and interacting with vendors and contractors, all while adhering to established safety practices and cGMP environment standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Warehouse Associate I: 0-2 years experience
  • Warehouse Associate II: 2+ years experience
  • Warehouse Associate III: 4+ years experience
  • Ability to think creatively, proactively and propose solutions with attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate issues and ideas with peers and with management
  • Ability to build effective working relationships throughout the organization
  • Ability to operate independently while maintaining deadlines
  • Self-starter with a resilient, can-do attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree and/or warehouse experience
  • Experience in a cGMP environment
  • Experience operating a boxtruck, forklift, handheld scanner and or CDL

Responsibilities

  • Receipt, documentation, and movement of inventory and non-inventory items within the plant and from outside sources

  • Maintaining paper and/or electronic records of received goods
  • Transferring materials physically to QA Release Area, appropriate storage location, or process area
  • Documenting transfers in computerized systems
  • Preparing and maintaining paper and electronic records of materials received
  • Confirming accuracy of inventory receipts per packing slip and/or Certificate of Analysis
  • Examining, stocking, and distributing materials in inventory and to manufacturing
  • Filling requisitions and dispensing items to production workers manually and electronically
  • Generating labels and applying labels to received inventory
  • Scheduling deliveries of incoming raw materials
  • Packing out materials being shipped per SOP’s
  • Loading Trucks for shipment
  • Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining materials, area, tools and CTU’s including disposes of cardboard, and other packaging debris
  • Assisting with shipping of finished products for filling, labeling and distribution
  • Assisting with receipt of finished product from fillers, labelers and any other source
  • May take inventory and cycle counts
  • May participate in the Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) program, NOE’s, EOE’s, or CAPA’s as required
  • May be required to write SOPs
  • May interact with vendors, contractors
  • Following established safety practices and SOPs in a cGMP environment
