About The Position

To deliver on our promise to our customers, we count on exceptionally talented, bright, and committed people.  Currently, we are seeking a warehouse associate to join our team and complete various shipping functions at our Allentown, PA location. The associate will pick customer sales orders, location transfers and other warehouse shipping functions. Associates must be able to learn our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and utilize Barcode scanners. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid company forklift license and operate equipment in a safe manner. Individuals must be able to work in a team environment, have good communication skills, work well with others, and demonstrate a sense of urgency, while maintaining safety protocols when performing job functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Possess a team first attitude
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic & sense of urgency while maintaining safety protocols when performing job functions.
  • Must be able to complete and pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Driver's License (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer shipping and receiving experience
  • Hazmat Certified (Preferred)
  • Forklift Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Package goods properly to ensure quality of material upon arrival at customers’ location.
  • Maintain packing supplies needed to ensure proper packaging of product.
  • Learn and use ERP system menus.
  • Learn and use RF scanners.
  • Ability to gain company forklift license training and maintain license.
  • Must always drive forklifts in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy other team members.
  • Learn and use Pitney Bowes shipping system.
  • Learn the products and how to fill and place items from the order to fill skids as to not damage product in transit
  • Have the ability and willingness to help in other areas within the warehouse.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide feedback related to job responsibilities that will contribute to continual process improvement.
