About The Position

The Warehouse Staff is responsible for, receiving, tracking, and storing all inventories and products received within the warehouse.

Requirements

  • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Star Tribal Members.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification
  • Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company’s choice, through a payroll deduction program.
  • All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a non-key Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission gaming license.
  • Maintains a strict level of confidentiality regarding company information.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Basic analytical and mathematical competency.
  • Clearly read and understand inventory system generated paperwork.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to deal with stressful situations in a professional manner.
  • While performing the duties of the position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, turn, bend, use hands and fingers to grasp, handle, and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
  • Must present self in a well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Must be able to work various hours as needed including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to maneuver around the office and the facility as needed to collect and distribute all necessary material.
  • Must be able to operate company equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 80 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 150 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
  • Physical ability to safely perform the essential job functions of the position.
  • Able to work in extreme temperatures (Cold or Hot)

Nice To Haves

  • One year of warehouse, stocking, or inventory control experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of purchasing/inventory software systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, recording shortages, and corresponding with buyer to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records, including the warehouse inventory software.
  • Aids in performing inventory of all warehouse materials.
  • Issues supplies upon receipt of approved requisitions, pulls inventory issues, and delivers to appropriate department, and closes inventory issues within inventory software.
  • Always keep storerooms clean and orderly.
  • Conduct off property pick-ups.
  • Assist in moving furniture, equipment, and other items.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
