Warehouse Associate - 7AM-3:30PM M-F - Tempe, AZ
About The Position
As GCG continues to grow, we are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to add to our team in Tempe, AZ! In this role, your main responsibility will be cutting wire to customer orders, picking orders, shipping & receiving, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed. If you are looking for a direct-hire position in a climate-controlled warehouse to gain hands on experience with an industry leader, then we may be just the right fit for you! Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri Pay Rate: $20/hr (based on experience) + full benefits Location: 7333 South Hardy Drive Tempe AZ 85283
Requirements
- Warehouse experience required
- Basic math and computer skills required
- Reliable transportation is required as the site is not accessible by public transit
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
Nice To Haves
- Experience with machinery preferred
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred
- High school diploma/GED a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate spooling machine to cut wire/cable
- Set up and operate striping machine
- Assist with shipping & receiving orders, using computers to handle paperwork
- Pick and pull with RF scanners and forklifts
- Perform additional warehouse duties as needed
