About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift. Our Woodridge, IL location is the leader in the distribution of finished electrical products to multiple segments. These include utilties, hospitals, data centers, arenas, and aerospace. The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 + $1 shift differential per hour. HOURS: 2:00pm-10:30pm Why work at Eaton? What you’ll do: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and packing products that are scheduled to be shipped out. You will work to verify orders as the come in and out of the facility. Load and Unload trucks and process them to the correct area for storage.

Requirements

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to move material as needed
  • Must be able to work at a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing to work in a variety of capacities/functions
  • Must have strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Handheld / RF Scanner experience
  • Forklift, Material Handling Equipment, or Powered Industrial Truck experience
  • Related experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and ship product
  • Verify product, product numbers, and quantity for order accuracy
  • Load and unload Trucks / Containers
  • Receive and process stock and materials
  • Stock the warehouse and rotate/replenish inventory
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
