ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Warehouse Associate Team Lead who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. Warehouse Associate Team Lead 2nd Shift Your main responsibilities will be: Load & unload trucks and containers Stock & pull orders with accuracy and speed Prepare orders for shipment Maintain shipping and receiving equipment Submit orders with weights and dimensions Operate a forklift & pallet jack Occasional assistance in packaging area Coordinate with shipping Administrators to determine material to transfer to our off-site facility. Stage orders in an organized fashion Adhering to all PPE and ESD protocols. Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures Ensure hazardous materials are stored in accordance with requirements Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area Efficiently complete tasks as well as lead team members by training, assigning work, and keeping inventory flow under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and/or in their absence. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred
  • Proven work experience as an Inventory or similar role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain a forklift license and operate both a sit-down and standup forklift.
  • Proactive critical thinker
  • Excellent oral and written communication across department lines
  • The ability and willingness to learn and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks in production and communicate with appropriate supervision/department.
