About The Position

The shift lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the selection process. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations in our warehouse and lead a team of associates. The Warehouse Lead will ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of goods, manage inventory, and coordinate with other departments to meet company goals. This individual will play a key role in maintaining a smooth workflow, training and mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if necessary).
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and inventory control systems.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Basic computer skills for tracking inventory and generating reports.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse associates, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the team.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the receiving and shipping process to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders. Verify shipments, inspect for damages, and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels by performing regular counts, organizing stock, and ensuring proper storage. Assist in tracking and resolving discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ensure accurate and efficient picking, packing, and staging of products for shipment. Maintain high standards for order accuracy and packaging quality.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain an orderly and safe work environment by organizing products, ensuring proper labeling, and adhering to all safety and operational standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures and ensure all employees are following safe practices and using proper protective equipment. Address safety concerns and report any violations.
  • Training & Development: Train new warehouse associates on processes, safety procedures, and equipment operation. Provide ongoing training to improve team performance and efficiency.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve any operational issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner and communicate effectively with management regarding any concerns.
