About The Position

Garden State Tile is currently seeking an experienced and exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As a Warehouse Associate in our Sample Department, you are receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse for each client and team member to ensure customer satisfaction and providing the highest level of concierge customer service to every client in a timely safe, accurate, and efficient manner. Additional duties specific to a position in our Sample Department warehouse include operation of power tools and assembly of various types of merchandising items. This position offers a competitive base hourly wage range of $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. Garden State Tile’s facility is equipped with state of the art wireless warehouse technology uses Epicor Prophet 21 technology and is conveniently located on Route 34 in Wall Township, New Jersey. The sample department and sample production facility in location within our Wall New Jersey Design Center and provides quality ceramic, porcelain, glass and stone products to fill the sample and merchandising needs of dealers, architects, designers, residential customers and Team GST in all areas serviced. Current scheduling for this position is 5 days a week, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a one-hour unpaid lunch.

Requirements

Receive and enter all shipments arriving in the warehouse.
Accurately prepare all orders for shipping and pick-ups.
Load and unload trucks.
Perform cycle counts as scheduled and preserve accurate inventory.
Maintain proper safety procedures.
Background checks will be conducted post job offer. All offers of employment at Garden State Tile are contingent upon clear results of a standard background check and only if the position is safety-sensitive or transportation related, for example equipment operator or driver; additional background searches including Drug Testing and Driving Records will be completed.
