About The Position

Position Responsible for the day-to-day warehousing and distribution of aftermarket aircraft materials. Essential Duties And Responsibilities You will be assigned to one or more of the following areas with the following duties: Storage and Preservation: Duties include: Utility- Overall maintenance, repairs and housekeeping of the warehouse and work area etc. Inspection, cleaning and maintenance of related equipment. Preservation of Materials– Proper repackaging of materials for preservation as required for stocking and staging. Locate– Place parts in permanent warehouse storage locations. Picking: Duties include: Picking– Pick parts from location and verifies accuracy before routing to Outbound Inspection. Gather LLP paperwork for shipment for Inspection processing. Put-Away – Transfer of material from stock carts to shelf locations, recording of transfers in the system and maintaining a log of parts located. Stock Check – Pick and action as appropriate, including updating manufacturing dates in the system and, taking and uploading pictures, and scanning documentation. Shipping: Duties included: Packing– Pack all post-inspection shipments in ATA 300 spec packaging to ensure integrity of the parts, take pictures to detail packing methods, provide documents and ship according to shipping instructions, and move material to the pick-up area. Build crates and assist in creating solutions for the odd-sized parts shipping methods. Troubleshooting. Documentation– Prepare customs documents and assist in proper shipping of dangerous goods. Inventory Management: Duties include: Cycle Counting– Verify location, counts, and condition of all material received into the warehouse. Keep records of all findings and corrective actions taken. Audits– Perform “location” audits for parts. Problem Resolution– Use problem-solving techniques to resolve inventory related problems. All Areas: Special Projects in all areas as assigned. Forklift experience required. Participate in AOG as necessary. Other responsibilities as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A separate skills listing is available for review. Requirements

  • High School diploma/ GED
  • Over 24 months or more hands-on warehouse experience required
  • Oral and written command of the English language necessary.
  • Basic math skill required (addition, subtraction, and multiplication)
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification.
  • Bending, stooping, grabbing objects with hands
  • Willingness to work at heights up to 30 ft.
  • Good speaking, hearing, and excellent manual dexterity
  • Attention to visual detail for long periods of time
  • Work/sit in front of a computer monitor for long periods of time.
  • Lifting up to 45 lbs.
  • Walking
