About The Position
Punta Gorda lumber yard seeking dependable, hard-working, customer service oriented team player to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition towards customers and coworkers, solid work ethic, team first and can do attitude are essential.
Requirements
- Ability to load 18 wheeler and flatbed
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
- Experience operating forklift (propane 6k lb+ sit down)
- Must have experience with manual transmissions, knowledge on strapping loads, and help unloading trucks
- Must have delivery experience in 22’-28’ curtain side flatbed
- Current, valid, unencumbered Class B driver's license is required
- Clean driving record is required
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in hardwood lumber and/or plywood distribution is preferred
- Warehouse and/or woodworking experience preferred
- Knowledge of picking orders within lumber yard or warehouse environment
