About The Position

The Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for the safe and timely transport of inventory, supplies, and finished goods between Los Poblanos’ warehouse, production facility, retail locations, and vendor or customer sites. Working closely with the warehouse team, this role ensures that deliveries and pickups are coordinated with shipping schedules and purchase orders while maintaining accurate documentation of all transported materials.

Requirements

Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle record review

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or a similar role preferred
Familiarity with local Albuquerque and Santa Fe area roads and routes

Responsibilities

Safely operate company trucks and vans for local deliveries and pickups between Los Poblanos properties, vendors, and customers
Load and unload merchandise, verifying items against delivery manifests and purchase orders
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time arrivals and departures
Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, completing daily vehicle inspection reports
Maintain truck or van by following preventive maintenance schedules and promptly reporting any mechanical issues or needed repairs
Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritize and schedule deliveries
Record and report any damaged, missing, or impaired merchandise discovered during transport
Operate forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, and dollies when loading or unloading
Enter delivery and logistics data into inventory software programs accurately and promptly
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, cargo area, and loading dock workspace
Comply with all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation regulations
Contribute to the overall warehouse team effort by assisting with receiving, stocking, and order preparation as time allows
Drive company vehicles to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups across all Los Poblanos locations and external sites
Verify the accuracy of all outgoing and incoming shipments by checking quantities, labels, and product condition
Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required, depending on vehicle class
Lift and move packages and materials weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, managers, vendors, and customers to resolve delivery issues
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, vehicle, and transportation regulations
