About The Position

S&S Tire a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer is seeking to add a warehouse associate/backup driver. This position requires manual labor, lifting tires up to 150 lbs. Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: Warehouse Receiver tasks Loads, unloads, checks and tallies tires to and from carriers [trailer trucks] Selects, counts, marks, palletizes and verifies accuracy of orders. May operate forklift, cherry picker, pallet jacks, and other equipment in the execution of duties. Performs required counting, tallying and marking on related inventory control documents. Driver Tasks Provide excellent customer service to all customers. Safely operate 16' to 28' box truck for delivery of products. Makes collections from customers for merchandise delivered on a Cash on Delivery basis. Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each work day, immediately report any issues. Completes all driver and vehicle maintenance logs. Requirements

Must have the desire and ability to work in a warehouse environment
Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance
Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment
Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience
Good safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
Valid driver's license - in good standing
High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Forklift license is a plus
