About The Position

S&S Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer since 1974, is opening a new warehouse in the Acworth/ Greater Atlanta area! We are looking for motivated Warehouse Associate/Backup Drivers to join the team! Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to: Warehouse Tasks Loads, unloads, checks and tallies tires to and from carriers [trailer trucks] Selects, packs, counts, marks, palletizes tires of customer orders and places in the assigned staging areas according to bin locator system. Checks and verifies accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders. May Operates order picker, pallet jacks, and other equipment in the execution of duties. Performs required counting, tallying and marking on related inventory control documents. Participates in cycle and/or annual physical inventories. Ensures safety guidelines are met by the proper palletizing, re-palletizing, and restacking of tires. Driver Tasks Non-CDL will be driving a pick-up truck/box truck Makes collections from customers for merchandise delivered on a Cash on Delivery basis. Makes list of prospective customers along the designated route to supply the Store Manager with sales follow up information. Completes all driver and vehicle maintenance logs. Ensures good mechanical operation of vehicle. Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections at the beginning of each workday and immediately report operating problems or mechanical defects to the Warehouse Manager or designee. Requirements

Able and willing to work in a warehouse environment
Lift/move tires (up to 100lbs) with or without equipment, frequent bending and lifting
Accurately place received and shipping products in warehouse
Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts
Valid driver’s license; good standing with no more than 3 violations in 3 years
Must be at least 23 years old with a minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
Detail-oriented, punctual, and dependable
Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting
