To learn more about being a Delivery Driver at North Coast Electric: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lKAP744N1c To learn more about being a Warehouse Associate at North Coast Electric: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuuhrjSEH2A What You Will Do: Order Filling/Receiving Improve warehouse cleanliness Safe forklift driving Cutting wire to customer lengths Back-up delivery driver Safe and reliable delivery to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Electric locations General warehousing, use of RF system Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within the weight limit Counter and other sales/support duties as directed Other duties as assigned What You Will Bring: 21 years of age or older Valid driver’s license and current DMV abstract DOT Medical Examiners Card or ability to obtain one Excellent customer service skills Self-motivated and detail oriented Professional in appearance, communication, and actions Ability to learn use of hand held scanners and operating systems Completing EDGE in the first 30 days of employment Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Physical requirements can include lifting and pulling of heavy objects (70 lbs) Warehouse environment and customer locations Driving delivery vehicle with GVW under 26,000 lbs. and powered industrial equipment (forklift, etc.) Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required Requires regular and reliable attendance
