What you will do: Load, unload, and move materials from storage to staging sites and/or designated areas per each sales ticket. Use work orders and verbal instructions to assemble materials and containers which need to be picked, moved, or staged. Collect and pick all materials included customer orders using the pick ticket. Package merchandise for shipment to ensure maximum efficiency and reduce damage during the shipping process. Properly wrap, label, and mark material for easy identification and loading. Use Eclipse to confirm picking and staging of materials, ensuring proper piece count for drivers and customers. Deliver orders to customer job sites or other requested locations while adhering to all safety procedures. Load materials onto vehicles and properly secure cargo. Unload incoming vehicles, prepare necessary receiving documents, and receive the materials. Document shipments and changes in inventory using Eclipse. Clean work areas, machines, and equipment on a routine basis. Safely operate all the necessary equipment in the work area. Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Count, weigh or measure incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records; examine incoming shipments for damage or shortages and correspond with purchasing. Perform regular counting of inventory, including running off wire and inspecting items for damage. Communicate when supply inventory levels are low. Other duties, as assigned.
