We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Warehouse Assistant to support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse operations at our Sacramento, CA location. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organized warehouse. Pay: $25/hour Includes benefits, PTO, and 401(k)

Requirements

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations , including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in inventory systems, scanning tools, and data entry.
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately.
  • Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices .
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly .
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Clear communication skills and a professional, dependable work ethic.
  • Passing a pre-employment drug screen , including marijuana testing.
  • Passing a pre-employment physical (lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, pulling, squatting).
  • A valid drivers license with a clean 5-year driving record.
  • Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required (expenses covered).

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification).

Responsibilities

  • Receive and ship materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Label, stage, and organize inventory for proper storage and distribution.
  • Scan materials, enter data into inventory systems, and complete bin transfers as required.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate stock levels through cycle counts and inventory updates.
  • Maintain a clean, safe warehouse with clear walkways and properly organized storage areas .
  • Assist with shelving installation and reconfiguration when needed.
  • Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance , shipping coordination, and tracking.
  • Assist with tracking company vehicle maintenance , service schedules, and documentation.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely (as assigned).
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
  • Take on additional warehouse or operational tasks as needed to support team success.
