About The Position

Temp RPM Staffing is looking for an Accounting Manager for a warehouse in Bonham, TX! Shift: Mon-Fri Pay: $80-100k/ DOE Primary Purpose: The accountant role offers a variety of responsibilities, including overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, leading month/year-end closes, managing the general ledger and supporting budgeting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
CPA or CMA certification
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a leadership or supervisory accounting role is preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Expertise in GAAP, preparing financial statements, general ledger management, and ensuring regulatory adherence
Experience in budgets, financial analysis, and forecasting to support business decisions

Responsibilities

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports and general ledger activities
Preparing of month-end and year-end financial reports efficiently
Ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal controls
Support budget creation and monitoring financial performance
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to management for better decision making
Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues
Support audits and provide necessary documentation
