Be the “Guardian” of incoming and/or outgoing inventory. “Good to Great” quality mindset catalyst. Self-motivated, results-driven, improvement engine. Work with Quality to investigate, identify, and implement solutions to eliminate inventory issues. Deliver an exceptional customer experience with fast, reliable, assembly of all products. Streamline and continuously improve finished goods availability, material pipeline, equipment availability, capacity, efficiency, execution, cost, quality, communication, and value. Maximize status, visibility, control, and progress. Speak and write effectively, assimilate information, and make judgments based on the costs and benefits of various activities.

Requirements

  • Bilingual: English & Spanish - preferred

  • Knowledge of ERP, databases, and MS Office.

  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
  • Strong organizational skills, particularly planning, scheduling, and managing execution.
  • Knowledge of computer systems to maintain routings, shop orders, requisitions.
  • Ability to check-in parts and reconcile material.
  • ISO 9001 expertise.

Nice To Haves

  • Problem Solving (5 Why, DMAC, etc.)
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Preventive Action preferred.
  • Forklift and other PIV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the progress of assigned team and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze various metrics including individual and team performance, and implement appropriate changes to increase overall team quality and efficiency.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for improvement within operation AND implement necessary changes.
  • Capable, willing, and able to train multiple employees.
  • Set aggressive goals, plan, and execute to accomplish and surpass those goals.
  • Work with improvement teams and team members to improve quality. Identify areas for improvement, lead and execute improvement activities as a team.
  • Must be able to identify products and train team members how to do the same.
  • Develop, document, keep current, formally release processes and revisions through QMS, and communicate processes associated with your department.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and maintain readiness at all times, both a secondary (backup) team member and a tertiary (emergency backup), to seamlessly perform your role whenever you are out, or other duties pull you away from your primary responsibilities.
  • Must be willing to flex between various departments.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Provide team members the required tools and equipment for their success.
  • Understand the shortcomings of team members and provide them with the required training and support.
  • Must be willing to stay late (when necessary) and have an exceptional attendance record.
  • Be the SME (subject matter expert) for your department.
  • Recruit, interview, evaluate, hire, train new team members.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be proficient with all warehouse hardware and software equipment.
