About The Position

This position is contingent upon successful proposal submission and contract award. Prevailance is seeking an experienced Video Teleconferencing (VTC) & Mobile Device Support Specialist to ensure reliable video teleconferencing operations and provide expert support for government mobile devices. This role supports daily mission execution by maintaining VTC readiness, managing secure mobile platforms, and assisting end users across Navy ashore commands. Travel may be required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with VTC systems (Cisco, Polycom, ZoomGov, etc.) including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • 5+ years supporting iOS, Android, and secure DoD mobile platforms (e.g., Samsung Knox, Apple DEP)
  • Experience managing inventory and documentation for VTC and mobile device equipment
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity protocols for mobile endpoints and secure communications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface with senior leaders and technical teams
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • High School diploma or GED
  • CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 compliant)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or higher in IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • CompTIA A+ and/or Network+
  • AVIXA CTS certification
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Familiarity with military rank and organizational structures
  • Knowledge of military terminology
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical services supporting maintenance, modernization, and day-to-day functionality of staff VTC systems
  • Ensure VTC systems are fully operational each day and communicate outages or scheduled maintenance to command leadership
  • Schedule and manage VTC resources; initiate and support video conferences
  • Provide configuration, troubleshooting, and end user support for government mobile devices, including iOS, Android, and DoD-approved platforms
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support logs for VTC and mobile device equipment
  • Assist end users across ashore Navy commands with VTC and mobile device needs
