Job Summary The VP of Strategy & Strategic Initiatives partners across the ELT and enterprise to shape, operationalize, and continuously refine Point32Health’s enterprise strategy. This role sits at the center of three critical outcomes: • Clarity: Strategy reflects real choices, trade-offs, and priorities • Alignment: Leaders are coordinated around a shared direction and plan • Execution: Strategy translates into measurable progress and results The VP leads a small, high-impact team and works horizontally across functions to ensure strategy is integrated into planning, resource allocation, and day-to-day decision-making. This role ensures Point32Health has a clear, actionable enterprise strategy—and that it is actually executed. The VP leads the processes that translate strategy into aligned priorities, measurable outcomes, and coordinated action across the enterprise. Success is defined not by producing strategy, but by enabling decisions, driving alignment, and delivering results. This role reports to the EVP, Enterprise Strategy & Strategic Partnerships and is a core member of that leadership team.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or general management roles
  • Demonstrated success shaping and executing enterprise-level strategy
  • Experience working across functions in complex organizations
  • Proven ability to drive alignment and influence senior leaders
  • Track record of translating strategy into execution and results
  • MBA or equivalent experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Strategy (Shape the “What” and “Why”) Lead the enterprise strategy development process end-to-end
  • Ensure strategy reflects clear choices, trade-offs, and differentiated positioning
  • Facilitate alignment across ELT and key stakeholders
  • Integrate inputs from product, growth, clinical, technology, and market perspectives
  • Continuously refresh strategy based on market shifts, performance, and new insights
  • Strategy Execution (Translate to “How”) Define the multi-year enterprise roadmap with clear milestones and measures
  • Ensure strategy is translated into functional enablement plans (technology, clinical, operations, partnerships, etc.)
  • Partner with ELT to align priorities, resource allocation, and investments
  • Establish and monitor enterprise metrics and performance tracking
  • Identify gaps, diagnose underperformance, and drive course correction
  • Enterprise Alignment & Decision Support Surface and frame critical trade-offs and decision points for leadership
  • Enable faster, higher-quality decision-making across complex issues
  • Ensure clarity of ownership, priorities, and accountability
  • Reduce fragmentation and misalignment across initiatives
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence Establish a focused, actionable intelligence capability
  • Deliver insights that inform strategy, not just describe the market
  • Translate external trends into implications for growth, cost, and positioning
  • Leverage insights from investments, partnerships, and ecosystem relationships
  • Strategic Partnerships (in partnership with EVP) Identify capability gaps required to deliver strategy
  • Lead build / buy / partner assessments
  • Define partnership requirements and strategic fit
  • Enterprise Strategic Initiatives Lead or shape a focused set of high-priority, cross-enterprise initiatives
  • Ensure initiatives are directly tied to strategy and measurable outcomes
  • Avoid PMO-style tracking; focus on impact, not activity
