About The Position

As Big Happy enters its next phase of growth, we are investing in senior partnership leadership to accelerate agency adoption, expand retail media integrations, and deepen relationships with third-party platforms that influence modern media buying. This role blends strategic leadership, relationship management, and business development to maximize the impact of Big Happy's solutions. We are seeking a VP - Strategic Partnerships & Agency Development to own and scale Big Happy’s agency relationships, retail media partnerships, and third-party ecosystem strategy. This role reports directly to the CRO and sits at the intersection of Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Marketing and is responsible for turning Big Happy into an execution partner for agencies, RMNs, and platform partners. This role is critical to Big Happy’s next phase of growth. As agencies and retailers look for fewer, smarter partners, this leader will ensure Big Happy is at the center of the ecosystem, helping shape how creative and media work together across channels.

  • Deep understanding of agency operating models, retail media dynamics, and platform ecosystems.
  • This is a senior, externally-facing role built for someone who knows how agencies operate, understands retail media economics, and has experience building scalable partnerships with platforms
  • Proven ability to develop and grow client relationships, particularly within holding companies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging and influencing C-level clients.
  • Comfortable operating at a senior level with agencies, brand marketers, and platform leadership.

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to unlock net-new agency access and deepen existing relationships with senior level executives at HoldCos.
