About The Position

The Vice President, Senior Account Director will report to the VP, Group Account Director and will lead a strategic partnership with a global B2B manufacturing client. This is a high-impact role based in Denver, Colorado, where you'll serve as the senior Merkle presence and the go-to connection between the client's digital and IT leadership, our global delivery teams, and U.S.-based stakeholders. You'll be at the center of a multi-year digital transformation journey—covering technology strategy, user experience design, organizational change, and enterprise-scale web development. The VP, Senior Account Director, will e nsure client satisfaction, delivery excellence, and long-term success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in client services, account management, or delivery leadership within digital transformation or enterprise technology.
  • 5+ years of e xperience leading large-scale digital programs with globally distributed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS, CRM, enterprise architecture, and digital commerce (Adobe and Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships in B2B or manufacturing environments.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills—able to build trust and navigate ambiguity.
  • Comfortable working in matrixed organizations with competing priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with a delivery-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Build Strong Client Relationships
  • Be the trusted senior Merkle representative on-site in Denver.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic conversations, delivery updates, and issue resolution.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively address them, keeping both client and internal teams aligned.
  • Translate client priorities into actionable plans for our global delivery organization.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions, roadmaps, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Drive Delivery Excellence
  • Oversee multiple workstreams—from technology strategy and UX to organizational change and enterprise web development.
  • Align global teams across the U.S., EMEA, and offshore locations to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Partner with program leaders to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and maintain delivery standards.
  • Bring deep expertise in CMS, CRM, enterprise platforms, and digital commerce to guide decisions.
  • Influence and Collaborate
  • Navigate a matrixed organization and advocate for resources, pricing, and margin decisions.
  • Influence senior leaders across regions to align on staffing and scope.
  • Foster collaboration and transparency between geographically distributed teams.
  • Advise client leadership on digital transformation trends and customer experience innovation.
  • Grow Revenue
  • Maintain continuity of recurring work and ensure renewals.
  • Support proposals and contract discussions while laying out the groundwork for future growth.
