About The Position

We are looking for a strategic and visionary leader to join our team as the VP of Product - to lead our product vision, strategy, and execution for Lumen’s Enterprise customer segments. The individual will be responsible for driving the product roadmap, delivering value to Lumen customers, and scaling Lumen’s business in these segments. The individual will work closely with product engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that solve complex problems and create competitive advantages.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree or MBA in business, computer science, economics, finance, or a related field required.
  • 15+ years of product leader experience in enterprise segments, preferably in cloud, data, or AI domains or related fields.
  • 10+ years of high-level leadership experience in managing and growing product teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful and scalable products that solve customer problems and create business value.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise customer needs, challenges, and expectations.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams in an agile and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop talent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide vision, strategic and operational leadership for the product management segment.
  • Create opportunities for co-product innovation as appropriate. Offer fit for purpose Lumen products to help them accomplish their business goals.
  • Develop and implement a robust business planning process and operational cadence across all Enterprises which closely aligns to Lumen’s product and growth strategy.
  • Create and execute long-term and annual execution plans to reach the full potential of growth with Enterprise customers.
  • Foster executive relationships at Enterprise organization at all levels to drive success.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, designers, and analysts to deliver high quality products that create customer solutions and exceed customer needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with product engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align product priorities, launch plans, and feedback loops.
  • Conduct market research, customer interviews, and data analysis to identify customer pain points, opportunities, and trends.
  • Define and measure key product metrics and outcomes to evaluate product performance and impact in the customer segments.
  • Establish and foster a customer-centric and data-driven product culture within the organization focused on raising the bar and customer obsession.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform product decisions, validate assumptions, and continually iterate on the product strategy to maintain a customer obsession.
