And are equally committed to creating a healthier environment and planet through our sustainability efforts.  Job SummaryThe Vice President, Proprietary Strategy and Transformation serves as a strategic partner to the SVP & Chief Proprietary Segment Officer and the senior leadership team. This role leads the coordination and execution of Proprietary’s most critical priorities, overseeing enterprise-wide operational excellence initiatives and ensuring consistent progress against strategic goals. As a key member of the segment’s leadership team, this leader connects strategy, transformation, and execution across functions, translating vision into measurable outcomes. The role also represents the SVP in key meetings, forums, and enterprise initiatives to maintain alignment and momentum. By providing clarity, structure, and follow-through, the Vice President ensures that the organization operates with focus, accountability, and agility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 15 years of experience building and scaling global businesses
  • Able to work on-site at our Exton, PA headquarters, for a minimum of three days per week, with additional on-site days as needed or requested.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate diverse, high-performing teams across global locations.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of working in various functions across the business
  • Able to comply with the company's SOPs, Code of Conduct, as well as safety and quality policies at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Turn complex information into clear insights and recommendations that guide strategic decisions across the Proprietary segment and the broader enterprise.
  • Connect strategy, transformation, and performance across functions to ensure the organization moves with clarity, focus and purpose.
  • Help translate key goals and projects into actionable plans with measurable outcomes that drive execution and accountability across the enterprise.
  • Lead, coach and develop team members to build skills, confidence, and readiness for future leadership roles at West. Help create an environment where people collaborate, share ideas, and take ownership of results.
  • Identify and lead cross-functional initiatives across the enterprise that improve efficiency, scalability, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Identify and lead opportunities that make enterprise more agile, scalable, and effective, improving both the customer and employee experience.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that improve performance, strengthen operations, and build needed capabilities across the organization.
  • Oversee enterprise operational excellence, ensuring key transformation projects are prioritized, executed, and deliver measurable value.
  • Drive the preparation and delivery of Management Business Reviews, executive updates, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Shape and evolve company operating rhythms to strengthen accountability, efficiency, visibility, and follow through.
  • Partner closely with Finance, HR, and business leaders to align resources, talent, and metrics with strategic goals
