Position Overview The Vice President, Product – Member Engagement & Transparency (ME&T) is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for Zelis’ ME&T portfolio to drive growth, margin expansion, and market differentiation. ME&T solutions help members find, access, and understand their care. The portfolio includes SaaS-based digital solutions that enable members to search for providers, receive incentives for choosing high-value care, and better understand cost and coverage through personalized communications and transparency tools. This role leads strategy, roadmap development, and execution across the portfolio, with a strong emphasis on AI-first product innovation. The VP will oversee a team of approximately 20 FTEs and partner cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership to ensure disciplined scoping, execution, and successful commercialization of product initiatives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive product management experience with demonstrated success managing and scaling strategic product portfolios
  • Healthcare, HealthTech, and/or enterprise SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Experience building and scaling consumer-facing digital products in complex, regulated environments
  • Familiarity with health plans, member engagement, cost transparency, or related healthcare technology solutions preferred
  • Demonstrated success delivering AI-enabled capabilities that drive measurable business and user outcomes
  • Proven ability to align and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Track record of bringing innovative products to market
  • Experience leading product teams in Agile environments
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage capital prioritization
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills
  • Strong project and process management capabilities
  • Ability to operate strategically while executing tactically
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to scale teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the Member Engagement & Transparency product strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned to business growth, margin, and AI objectives
  • Source and synthesize internal and external market feedback to prioritize investments and drive innovation
  • Lead ideation, development, and commercialization of new products and enhancements
  • Champion AI-enabled capabilities across both product offerings and internal product development workflows
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and client stakeholders to identify unmet needs and translate them into differentiated solutions
  • Contribute to P&L performance in partnership with matrixed leaders (Operations, Client Services, Sales, and other business stakeholders)
  • Own and drive the ME&T product roadmap in close collaboration with Operations and Technology
  • Lead a team of product directors, product managers, product owners, and business analysts
  • Oversee scrum teams and product backlogs to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
  • Manage capital allocation and prioritization across the portfolio
  • Improve delivery predictability, quality, and speed through strong product management discipline
  • Oversee launch planning and internal readiness for new features and products
  • Coordinate cross-functional readiness across Marketing, Sales, Account Management, Operations, and Technology
  • Engage directly with clients to validate solutions and support commercial efforts
  • Provide value proposition input and messaging guidance to Marketing
  • Assess financial, operational, technical, and commercial feasibility of new initiatives
  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing product organization
  • Establish clear accountability, collaboration standards, and execution discipline
  • Foster a culture of innovation, customer focus, and measurable results
