The ideal Physician Customer Partner Leader will have a central focus of optimizing R1’s end-to-end operations of Medical Groups through building strong customer relationships and leading internal teams. The successful leader will understand the unique advantage of having a proven global operating capability driven by proprietary technology that enable scale to support a rapidly growing organization. As the Vice President of Physician Customer Partner, you will lead the revenue cycle delivery for large health care organizations and R1 functional teams to deliver superior results. In this role, you will also contribute to our growing organization as a thought leader helping to improve the Physician R1 RCM (R1) solution and inform our strategy. The Vice President of Physician Customer Partner is also responsible for building and maintaining a high trust relationship with the most senior-level client counterparts as well building and mentoring a high performing team.

Requirements

  • At least 12+ years of Operational experience with at least 5 years in Revenue Cycle and 8+ years in executive leadership roles

Nice To Haves

  • Physician Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
  • Epic and/or Athena expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day leadership and management of large-scale end-to-end Medical Group revenue cycle engagements.
  • Oversee multiple Customer Partner Directors and other staff to carry out key objectives and lead delivery to the customers.
  • Lead relationship management of key client counterparts including continued communication of revenue cycle performance
  • Lead internal efforts to improve KLAS and NPS scores and support related activities.
  • Contribute to Physician R1 strategy development as customer expert sharing best practices, optimizing performance, and leading transformation
  • Execute and improve R1’s operating model
  • Act as a change agent to help establish common goals and create alliances across the Medical Group organization to optimize success
  • Serve as a single point of contact for the customer ranging from executive level to front line operators to help drive operational and performance improvement
  • Partner with R1 functional leaders on management decisions regarding daily operations within assigned Medical Groups
  • Focus on development, performance, and growth of the team.
