About The Position
Oversees daily operations for the operating rooms, PACU, Overnight Recovery Unit, Pre-Admission Testing, and Sterile Processing departments. Accountable for developing effective processes, improving efficiency, maintaining financial integrity, and ultimately helping the organization deliver high-quality, cost-effective surgical services. Collaborates closely with Senior Executive Leadership and AVP, Perioperative Nursing on numerous projects and develops new initiatives to promote surgical volume growth. Partners with the TFPP surgical administrators.
Requirements
- Master's Degree Business or Health Care Administration Required
- 7 years experience in a healthcare management role with focus on perioperative service lines (inpatient and outpatient) Required
- General Experience in the leadership of an integrated surgical service line with complex matrix reporting relationships Required
Nice To Haves
- General Experience with leadership in an academic medical center and experience with labor relations Preferred
