About The Position

We're looking for a senior-level Paid Social expert to join the Consumer Bank group of a top-tier global financial institution. In this role, you'll lead paid social strategy and planning with a sharp focus on customer acquisition — partnering cross-functionally with internal teams to develop campaigns that deliver real, measurable results. This is a role for someone who hits the ground running. You'll be expected to add value from day one, bringing enough platform fluency and strategic experience to operate independently without a long ramp-up. You're a seasoned social media leader who knows how to zoom out and think strategically, while still being close enough to the platforms to make sharp optimization calls. You've managed teams, navigated global stakeholders, and you bring both the expertise and the presence to represent social media in high-stakes internal conversations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in paid social, with demonstrated expertise across the major platforms
  • Senior-level experience managing and developing teams
  • Able to operate with a high degree of autonomy from the start — this team needs a self-starter who can assess the landscape quickly and get to work
  • A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves — recent, hands-on platform experience is essential
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working cross-functionally and in global environments

  • Experience in financial services or customer acquisition-focused roles is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead paid social planning and reporting across all major social platforms, with a customer acquisition lens specific to the Consumer Bank business
  • Develop and refine campaign strategies and optimization recommendations in partnership with social media managers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage and mentor a team of Associates and Senior Associates
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on paid social best practices, representing the channel in cross-functional conversations about new approaches and business objectives
  • Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders across functions, bringing strong relationship management to every engagement
