Responsible for a revenue stream of at least $165 million and 1,000 plus direct and indirect colleagues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in business administration, engineering, human resources or fire science preferred
  • Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Strong financial and accounting skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Good judgment and discretion skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and reports progress toward defined goals, recommends corrective actions where needed.
  • Monitors business condition changes and competitive climate at the market level to ensure area delivers defined results.
  • Assesses market level progress and takes action as needed to meet or exceed budgets.
  • Understands the field's opportunities and challenges as they relate to sales, operations, and quality through regular market visits.
  • Recognizes and implements best practices across the company.
  • Develops and manages relationships with multiple external customers to ensure the most efficient and effective processes and policies are in place.
  • Communicates with management throughout the organization appraised of activities related to achieving sales and operational goals as well as other issues that develop.
  • Manages and supports the development of staff to include identifying and developing bench strength, designing competency-based development plans, and ongoing succession planning to include job satisfaction and retention.
  • Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
  • Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
  • Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Travels as required.
