About The Position

Job Purpose: The Vice President, Business Operations participates in the definition of the mission, initiatives, and priorities for the execution of initiatives intended to add value to constituents, differentiate TD SYNNEX, and enable our success using technology. This executive will provide strategic leadership, understand business needs, and develop / execute solutions to reduce total cost of operation, improve efficiency and efficacy, and expand our capabilities. To do this, the Vice President, Operations will encourage ongoing improvement of operations by taking input from key business stakeholders, including C level internally and with partners, and developing process, technology, or structural improvements. Reporting into this executive is a team that manages the TD SYNNEX business applications for entire a country / sub-region or a grouping of related areas for an overall region and also has indirect management of the IT capacity for the assigned areas.

Requirements

  • >8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience
  • >3 to 5 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees
  • Possesses strong data entry skills.
  • Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
  • Able to use common office equipment.
  • Able to perform complex mathematical calculations.
  • Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.
  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
  • Able to interact effectively with high levels of management (managers & above.)

Responsibilities

  • Solicit feedback, collaborate, and ultimately define and communicate initiatives and priorities for assigned areas, in alignment with the overall corporate strategy.
  • Lead their team in the successful execution of these initiatives and projects.
  • Define, refine, and re-enforce department procedures for management of technology investments.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team to deliver on defined initiatives; elevate the team and enable upskilling.
  • Train, motivate and provide direction to co-workers to achieve department objectives.
  • Manage performance, mentor, recognize and invest in their success.
  • Play a key leadership role in major initiatives
