About The Position

VLCM is seeking a visionary Vice President of Technology to lead our technical strategy, innovation, and pre-sales engineering organization. As a key member of the leadership team, this leader will shape VLCM's technology roadmap, strengthen vendor relationships, and ensure that our technical capabilities and solutions continue to deliver exceptional value to our clients. The ideal candidate combines deep technical acumen with strong business leadership, a passion for emerging technologies, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams in the IT solutions and services industry.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within a Value-Added Reseller (VAR), Systems Integrator, or similar IT solutions organization.
• Proven experience managing technical pre-sales or engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and modern workplace technologies.
• Strong vendor relationship management experience (e.g., HPE, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Master's preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute VLCM's technical vision and solution strategy across our key practice areas.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify new opportunities for growth and differentiation.
• Lead and mentor our team of pre-sales engineers and technical specialists.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and customer-centric innovation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with our strategic vendor partners.
• Align VLCM's technology strategy with vendor roadmaps and partnership goals to maximize mutual success.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Services teams to create differentiated technical solutions and go-to-market offerings that align with customer needs and business objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert both internally and externally.
• Represent VLCM at industry events, customer engagements, and in the broader technology community.
• Ensure technical consistency, scalability, and profitability across all solution areas.
• Drive continuous improvement in technical processes, resource utilization, and delivery quality.
