About The Position

We’re hiring a VP of Strategy to partner directly with the executive team and board to define, drive, and execute AnySignal’s strategic vision. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you’ll help shape corporate strategy, evaluate new market opportunities, support partnerships and transactions, and drive alignment across product, go-to-market, and operations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor with practical execution — someone who can operate comfortably in ambiguity, influence across functions, and translate strategy into action. This role reports to the CEO with a dotted line to CFO.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, corporate development, operations, or senior business leadership roles within technology-driven organizations. More experience would be great but we care more about raw horse power than years on the job.
  • Demonstrated success leading strategic planning and driving execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including market analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executives, boards and investors.
  • Proven ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments with ambiguity and limited structure.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in communications, RF systems, AI, defense, or adjacent technical domains is NOT a requirement but experience handling technical topics is a very strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, iteration, and execution of corporate strategy and long-range planning as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize growth initiatives, including new markets, products, partnerships, and business models.
  • Conduct rigorous market, competitive, customer, and financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Translate strategy into execution by establishing planning cadences, goal-setting processes, and measurable strategic milestones.
  • Develop clear, compelling narratives and materials for executive leadership, Board meetings, and investors.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of existing strategies and continuously refine long-term plans based on performance and market dynamics.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional execution of strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Serve as a central point of ownership for corporate development activities, including strategic partnerships, alliances, and potential M&A.
  • Support fundraising and capital planning by anticipating diligence needs, synthesizing data, and articulating the company’s strategic story.
