About The Position

Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for driving growth and cultivating strong customer partnerships? Turck USA is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to guide our East Region and Automotive Vertical—an influential role that will strengthen our market presence and accelerate our long‑term sales vision. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales (VP of Sales) to lead the East Region and Automotive Vertical sales teams at Turck USA. This role is crucial in shaping the future of our organization by optimizing our sales structure, managing relationships with our direct sales team and manufacturer representatives, and fostering customer trust. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales, the VP of Sales will develop and execute comprehensive regional and automotive market sales strategies, manage direct sales representatives and promote collaboration across the sales channel and to achieve company objectives. This position will work closely with the SVP to align marketing activities with planned regional growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; a master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a strong plus.
  • 15+ years of progressive sales management experience with a proven record of driving revenue growth and leading high‑performing teams within a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing marketing initiatives in a B2B environment, including driving customer engagement and strengthening brand presence.
  • Success in achieving sales targets and accelerating revenue growth through both distribution partners and direct channels.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, with hands-on experience in ERP implementation, optimization, or transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities, with the capability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and manage complex customer relationships.
  • Ability to evaluate market trends, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable, results‑driven plans.
  • Experience managing diverse sales teams, including remote and field‑based employees, while fostering collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develops and executes the regional sales strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and revenue targets. Analyzes market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to formulate effective, data‑driven sales plans.
  • Revenue Generation:
  • Drives revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong sales pipelines, and ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded. Establishes sales goals, quotas, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Sales Team Leadership:
  • Leads, mentors, and inspires the sales organization—including sales managers and representatives—by setting clear expectations and fostering accountability. Recruits, trains, and develops a high‑performing team while cultivating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Sales Operations:
  • In partnership with the SVP of Sales, oversees the operational framework of the sales function, including processes, methodologies, and systems. Ensures efficient operations, consistent execution, and seamless alignment across departments.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key customers, strategic accounts, and business partners. Engages in high‑impact negotiations, resolves complex issues, and ensures customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long‑term retention.
  • Sales Performance Management:
  • Monitors and evaluates sales performance through analytics, metrics, and KPIs. Provides coaching, feedback, and guidance to enhance individual and team effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborates closely with product development, operations, finance, and other functions to share insights, address challenges, and coordinate strategies that support revenue growth and exceptional customer experience.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
  • Implements best practices for CRM utilization and KPI measurement. Uses data and analytics to forecast sales, track progress, and provide regular performance reports to executive leadership. Adjusts strategies based on insights and market dynamics.
  • Marketing Collaboration:
  • Partners with marketing to develop strategic campaigns, refine brand messaging, and leverage market research to support regional and vertical growth. Drives customer engagement, brand awareness, and revenue through aligned sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Culture:
  • Champions a culture of integrity, accountability, and high performance. Promotes collaboration, transparency, and a results‑oriented mindset throughout the sales organization.
