About The Position

A mission-driven care coordination organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is seeking a Vice President of Recruitment to lead and elevate talent acquisition across the organization. The company provides person-centered care coordination and related supports across New York and hires both clinical and non-clinical staff. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can build recruitment strategy, strengthen pipelines, improve hiring processes, and ensure the organization attracts the right people at the right pace. The right candidate understands that in a services business, recruiting is not just HR — it is core to growth, stability, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Senior recruitment leadership experience in healthcare, human services, care coordination, or another mission-driven service environment
  • Strong track record managing hiring across multiple departments and levels
  • Experience building systems, processes, and accountability within recruitment
  • Able to operate strategically while staying close to execution
  • Strong communicator with executive presence and sound judgment
  • Comfortable in a growing, high-accountability environment
  • Mission-driven and able to align hiring with service quality and organizational values

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full recruitment function across a multi-site care coordination organization
  • Build and manage hiring strategy for both clinical and non-clinical roles
  • Develop strong sourcing pipelines and recruiting channels to support ongoing workforce needs
  • Partner with senior leadership on headcount planning, hiring priorities, and workforce strategy
  • Improve recruitment processes, candidate experience, and time-to-fill metrics
  • Oversee recruiters and related team members; set standards, accountability, and performance goals
  • Build relationships with community, provider, and referral networks that strengthen the talent pipeline
  • Align recruiting efforts with the organization’s mission of person-centered, culturally respectful care
  • Collaborate with HR and operations to ensure smooth onboarding and strong retention handoff
