The Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy is a senior executive leader responsible for setting and executing the enterprise-wide marketing, brand, and communications strategy to drive sustainable growth in membership, deposits, and loans. This role defines how PSECU is positioned in the market and how its value is understood, experienced, and trusted by current and future members. As a member of senior leadership, the VP provides strategic counsel to the Executive Leadership Team and partners closely with Sales, Digital, Product, Finance, and Technology leaders to align brand strategy with business priorities. The role leads end to end marketing strategy including brand stewardship, value proposition articulation, reputation management, demand generation, and performance measurement ensuring marketing is a core growth engine rather than a support function. This position owns marketing investment strategy and governance, overseeing data-driven allocation across channels, partners, and initiatives to maximize ROI. The VP establishes enterprise marketing standards, measurement frameworks, and operating models that enable disciplined execution, scalability, and meaningful business outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Marketing & Growth Strategy Define and lead PSECU’s enterprise marketing, brand, and communications strategy aligned to organizational growth goals and future-state vision
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on market positioning, member growth, product adoption, and customer value creation
  • Translate business strategy into integrated, multi-year marketing roadmaps with clear milestones, KPIs, and investment frameworks
  • Elevate marketing from campaign execution to a strategic capability that informs growth decisions and enterprise priorities
  • Brand, Value Proposition & Market Positioning Own PSECU’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency, relevance, and differentiation across all member touchpoints
  • Lead the articulation of PSECU’s value proposition for current and future members, including product, experience, and trust dimensions
  • Ensure brand alignment across digital, service, product, physical, and communication channels
  • Drive initiatives that build long-term brand equity, member trust, loyalty, and advocacy
  • Brand, Value Proposition & Market Positioning Own PSECU’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency, relevance, and differentiation across all member touchpoints

  • Partner with Experience Analytics and Finance to ensure marketing KPIs, attribution models, and ROI measures are aligned and credible
  • Create a culture of test-and-learn, continuous optimization, and evidence-based decision-making
  • Data, Insights & Performance Measurement Establish enterprise marketing analytics, measurement, and reporting frameworks tied to business outcomes—not just activity
  • Leverage member insights, market intelligence, and performance data to inform strategy and investment decisions
  • Partner with Experience Analytics and Finance to ensure marketing KPIs, attribution models, and ROI measures are aligned and credible
  • Create a culture of test-and-learn, continuous optimization, and evidence-based decision-making
  • Marketing Investment & Vendor Governance Own the enterprise marketing budget, investment strategy, and performance accountability
  • Prioritize and allocate spend across channels, initiatives, and partners based on expected return and strategic fit
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management
  • Ensure marketing resources are deployed efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with enterprise objectives
  • Organizational Leadership & Capability Building Lead and develop a high-performing marketing and communications organization
  • Establish clear operating models, governance, and decision rights across marketing functions
  • Build modern marketing capabilities including brand stewardship, digital marketing, analytics, and lifecycle marketing
  • Coach and mentor leaders to operate strategically, collaboratively, and with accountability
