What you’ll do Manage the Design, Bidding and Construction of Land Development projects, which includes being a liaison with Government Authorities, Consulting team members and contractors Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, cash flows and other financial reporting Support management with municipal approvals: draft plans, zoning, site plans, subdivision registration etc. Obtain and/or oversee development approvals by working with multi-disciplined consultant teams and government authorities Support the Project Managers with the engineering process including civil, landscaping, and utility drawing approval process Build and maintain positive relationships within the organization and with Contractors, Municipalities, Agencies, and our Builders Oversee the timely planning and engineering approvals for civil, landscaping, utilities, etc. to ensure that all approvals are obtained in a timely manner and according to the project’s schedule Oversee project visioning process, pursue alternative design standards and process subdivision, utility, and development agreements Initiate, manage and execute land development and planning approval schedules Oversee land development budgets Manage land team and ensure the timely completion of all deliverables Oversee and review engineering and landscape design to meet schedules and achieve most timely/cost effective and customer friendly construction techniques & designs Review overall earthwork strategies to minimize costs and avoid import/export of material Review and analyze contract documents prior to award and negotiate prices and terms of contract (in consultation with the Vice President) Assist Sr. Management with land development related issues At Mattamy Homes, we’re passionate about creating and promoting a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone can do their best work.
