About The Position

The VP, Global Marketing will be responsible for leading global marketing efforts to build and drive future growth across all the IVT product portfolios while working closely with the VP & GM of Interventional Technologies, leadership team, and cross functional leaders throughout the organization. This role will be responsible for directing and ensuring appropriate alignment of the marketing and promotional strategies globally with a large focus on engagement, market intelligence and launch excellence. The VP, Global Marketing will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of marketing initiatives and new product launches for our interventional portfolio (A) Interventional Cardiology: Structural Heart, Coronary, and Peripheral Vascular segments AND (B) Interventional Technologies: Vascular Closure and Esophageal cooling segments. This role is crucial in driving market adoption, brand awareness, and revenue growth by aligning marketing strategies with product development and commercialization plans. The VP, Global Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, and Regional Marketing, to ensure cohesive and impactful product introductions and marketing campaigns and will work collaboratively to define and implement a marketing strategy to ensure commercial success. The VP, Global Marketing reports directly to the VP & GM, Interventional Technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - B.S. or B.A.
  • 10 + years Marketing experience in biotech, pharmaceutical or other areas of life sciences, with a proven record of high performance and consistent results
  • Life sciences’ product in-line marketing and launch/product commercialization experience are required
  • Must have strong social skills, maturity, and be capable of presenting ideas and concepts to a diverse range of individuals
  • Excellence in additional professional competencies including collaborative and cross functional problem solving and communications, innovative thinking, sense of urgency, and a passion for helping patients and their communities are critical

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree MBA or additional education in life sciences discipline preferred
  • Previous IVT experience in a marketing, sales and product management role strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy that supports the launch and growth of new products.
  • Lead the new product planning process, including market research, competitive analysis, and identification of unmet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the R&D and Product Development teams to align marketing strategies with product development timelines and objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of go-to-market plans for new products, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Manage global marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and events, to drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Coordinate with regional marketing teams to ensure global strategies are effectively localized and executed.
  • Partner with sales leaders to direct/advise and create sales initiatives by leading regional marketing, advertising, communications materials and strategy implementation to achieve the Interventional Technologies product marketing objectives.
  • Ensures superior sales support to achieve or exceed targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, industry partners, and stakeholders to support product launches and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and new product launches, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies.
  • Develop market insights including but not limited to competitive landscape, market trends and growth drivers, pricing strategies, market access and value delivery.
  • Lead the development and execution of launch plan(s) and deliver on post-launch performance tracking and business insights.
  • Identify commercial business risks or critical issues and recommend innovative customized strategies to mitigate.
  • Develop and refine customer segmentation and targeting, including market assessments for strategic planning and AOP.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the marketing and product planning teams.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing team and Market-Engagement Services on the product positioning and messages, development of a branded campaign, creation of end user personas and promotional KPIs.
  • Partner with Global Marketing team to gather market insights, conduct VoC and partner across the portfolio to identify and align the needs that differentiate the IVT solutions, including potential M&A.
