About The Position

Crossroads Health, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with facilities located in Mentor, Painesville, and Cleveland, serves Northeast Ohio communities with comprehensive behavioral and primary integrated healthcare, early childhood services, extended housing and recovery services—no matter one’s ability to pay. Our mission is to provide hope, healing, and healthcare to everyone. We are currently looking for a professional and passionate individual for the role of Vice President of Clinical Services. The Vice President of Clinical Services (VPCS) provides visionary, data-driven leadership for all clinical operations within a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike (FQHC LAL) agency. This executive role ensures the delivery of trauma-informed, evidence-based, and integrated care across behavioral health and primary care services, aligning programs with organizational mission and strategic priorities. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VPCS partners closely with the Medical Director, who oversees psychiatry, nursing, and primary care services, to ensure seamless integration of medical and behavioral health care. Together, they drive collaborative initiatives that improve population health outcomes, enhance care coordination, and advance whole-person care. The VPCS leads a diverse portfolio of service lines, including: School-based Counseling Outpatient Counseling Case Management Access Team (intake and assessment) Early Head Start/Head Start Early Intervention Services Prevention Services Employment Services Forensic Services Transitional Residential Housing Day Treatment

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in accredited professional clinical program: Clinical Counseling, Clinical Social Work or Psychology.
  • Minimum of 10 years in an administrative leadership position in a clinical setting or human service field.
  • Valid State of Ohio Independent License with Supervisory Designation LPCC-S, LISW-S, LICDC-CS or PsyD.
  • Demonstrated success managing fee for service contracts and implementing evidence-based practice models of care.
  • Prior clinical leadership experience serving a variety of different populations.
  • Prior leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provides executive-level clinical leadership to ensure the effectiveness, quality, and measurable outcomes of all treatment programs
  • Establishes and enforces trauma-informed standards of care across behavioral health services, driving organizational change through evidence-based practices
  • Maintains expertise in emerging best practices, research, and trends in behavioral health treatment.
  • Oversee performance improvement, utilization management and program evaluation to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Partners in the annual budgeting process and provides fiscal oversight for clinical operations. Utilizes trend analysis and predictive modeling to forecast future financial needs, aligning resource allocation with strategic priorities and anticipated service demand.
