About The Position

LAUNCH is seeking a Business Development Representative dedicated exclusively to new business development and new-logo pursuits within aviation staffing and services. This role is responsible for originating, qualifying, and closing net-new customer relationships, executing new Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and driving profitable revenue growth. This position does not carry ongoing account management or fulfillment ownership. Success is measured by new logos, revenue, margin contribution, and sales execution discipline. New Business Development & Sales Execution Own the full new-logo sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract execution. Identify, research, and prioritize aviation staffing and services prospects aligned to LAUNCH’s ideal client profile. Execute consistent outbound prospecting activities, including cold outreach, referrals, industry networking, and event-driven lead generation. Qualify opportunities and advance prospects through the sales funnel with disciplined pipeline management. Develop and present staffing and services solutions aligned to customer operational and financial objectives. Lead pricing strategy in partnership with leadership to ensure target margin thresholds are achieved. Negotiate and execute new Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and supporting commercial documentation. Transition closed business to delivery and operations teams with clear scope, expectations, and success criteria.   Sales KPIs & Performance Metrics This role is accountable to clearly defined commercial outcomes, including but not limited to: New Logos: Target: X–Y net-new customers per year (to be finalized by segment) Revenue Production: Annual new-business revenue target: $XM–$XXM Gross Margin / Contribution Margin: Maintain minimum gross margin thresholds consistent with LAUNCH staffing and services benchmarks Margin discipline is required on all deals prior to approval and close Pipeline Health: Maintain a qualified pipeline at 3–5x annual revenue target Accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene required Sales Activity Metrics: Consistent outbound activity (calls, meetings, proposals) Timely progression of opportunities through defined sales stages   Contracting & Commercial Governance Execute new MSAs, SOWs, and pricing exhibits in coordination with Legal, Finance, and Leadership. Ensure all new customers meet LAUNCH’s compliance standards, including credit, safety, and risk review. Adhere to approval workflows for pricing, margins, and contractual exceptions.   Internal Collaboration (Non-Ownership) Partner with Delivery, Operations, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure seamless post-close handoff. Serve as the commercial point of accountability through deal close, not ongoing account ownership. Support leadership with market intelligence, competitive insights, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven hunter mentality with a track record of closing net-new business
  • Strong executive-level communication and negotiation skills
  • Deep understanding of aviation staffing, MRO, and services-based sales
  • Financial acumen related to pricing, margins, and contribution economics
  • Highly organized, CRM-disciplined, and data-driven
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and results-oriented
  • 7–10+ years of outbound B2B sales experience; staffing experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success closing new logos and executing MSAs
  • Experience managing and closing opportunities exceeding $5M+ in annual revenue
  • Ability to travel weekly for customer meetings and industry events

Nice To Haves

  • Aviation, aerospace, engineering, or transportation industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bullhorn (ATS/CRM) experience a plus
