About The Position

Performance Validation is seeking a Vice President for New Services t to join our team in Indianapolis. The Vice President is a full-time exempt role within the company that reports directly to the President/CEO. Travel is required.

Requirements

  • Technical, Business, Product, Project, and Commercial Management experience.
  • Practitioner of the marketing 7Ps: Product, Price, Place, Promotion, Process and Physical Evidence.
  • Understands how to market and sell combination services and software solutions.
  • Ability to assess the business environment and specific customer situations and adapt our business plans appropriately.
  • Understands legal issues relating to contracts, and M&A transactions etc.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company’s management policy and procedures.
  • Understands financial statements, planning, and forecasting processes, and cash flow.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A four-year degree in Engineering, Management, Life Sciences, Product Management or other related commercial field and eight years of cGMP pharmaceutical industry experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with program design and management, including ability to analyze and initiate programs.
  • Supervisory skills, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities are important.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of experience in a similar company or providing similar management functions and international experience is preferred.
  • A proven track record in client facing commercial roles in one of more areas e.g., BD, Sales, Product Management etc.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new management talent at both the business management and director/ manager level.
  • Add to the organic growth of the company with both new and existing clients and supports M&A diligence and integration activities.
  • Maintain a strong reputation for quality and professionalism in services provided,
  • Effectively address and communicate vision, opportunities, strategies, and business issues to other management team members, employees, and clients.
  • Understand legal issues that relate to employment, contracts with customers, insurance liability, company business structure, company equity plans, leases, etc.
  • Coordinate the approval of contractual and other legal company commitments with the President.
  • Participate in the development of the company’s business plans.
  • Contribute to the company’s overall business strategy.
  • Contribute to the company’s quality initiatives.
  • Sets a tone of growth ambition without compromising ESOP values.
  • Connects with and understands the CQV market and adjacent segments, including where existing and potentially new competitors operate.
  • Defines and prioritizes growth opportunities for new services and digital-as-a-service (DaaS) products based on a robust business case, investment and resourcing plan that aligns with the company’s capabilities.
  • Drives early adoption of new services and DaaS solutions in one geo or client into the rest of the organization.
  • Launches new internally developed services and DaaS solutions, operationalizes through service delivery and ensures their success versus agreed targets and metrics.
  • Identifies potential services and DaaS M&A targets and collaborates with CFO/CEO on their evaluation
  • Proposes and maintains a vision for how the company should position and present new services and DaaS products in the market based upon new client buying patterns.
  • Collaborates with the extended commercial team and services delivery team to ensure a consistent approach.
  • Optimizes a services and DaaS view of the P&L.
