About The Position

Associa is seeking a role of VP Information Technology Planning and Delivery to join our company. Reporting to the SVP, Chief Information & Transformation Officer, this role is a senior technology leader responsible for driving IT strategy, governing technology and transformation investments, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology solutions. This role bridges business strategy and technology execution, driving transformation initiatives, optimizing service delivery, and aligning high-performing cross func1onal teams while partnering closely with executive leadership. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our Richardson, Texas location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including senior management roles.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale technology programs and transformations.
  • Experience reporting to or partnering closely with C-suite and executive leadership.
  • Familiarity with enterprise delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile, hybrid, waterfall) and modern SDLC practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on leadership in modernization ini1a1ves (cloud migration, ERP transformation, data & analytics platforms).
  • Experience implementing or governing AI-enabled solutions or advanced analytics platforms.
  • Experience operating in large, complex, multi-site enterprises.
  • Prior ownership of enterprise PMO alignment and delivery governance at scale.
  • Experience driving Agile / DevOps transformation across multiple teams or portfolios

Responsibilities

  • Mobilize, drive and execute mul1-year IT strategies aligned with enterprise business objec1ves and growth plans.
  • Establish and oversee IT delivery governance frameworks, standards and policies leveraging prac1ces such as ITIL, COBIT, AI, etc. as applicable
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to execu1ve leadership on technology investments, risks, and opportuni1es.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
  • Drive definition and roadmap of digital transformation initiatives, including M&A integrations, modernization of platforms, applications, and data capabilities with corresponding change management required.
  • Lead program executive communication and cadence through best practices including steering committees, routine status and tracking, escalations, change control, documentation, etc.
  • Partner with internal and external cross functional transformation leadership to align and drive successful implementation plans
  • Partner with CFO on program financials including ongoing business case management, spend tracking, revenue assumptions and change controls.
  • Partner with the Program Management Office to align with enterprise governance expecta1ons.
  • Partner with HR leadership on program resourcing including ongoing resource planning, tracking and requirements.
  • Partner with other leaders as required as dependent to transformation initiatives including but not limited to Corporate Accounting, Corporate Payroll, Technology Operations.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and deliver innovative technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and growth.
  • Lead IT program portfolio management efforts, ensuring prioritization aligns with strategic value.
  • Ensure investment objectives are met with scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions.
  • Establish program metrics and reporting to track delivery performance, benefits realization, and ROI.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation across business and IT functions.
  • Promote Agile, DevOps and AI SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) mindsets to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and increase organiza1onal adaptability.
  • Develop and align strategic relationships with technology vendors, system integrators, and service providers, ensuring delivery value and alignment with objectives.
  • Drive financial project and department analysis in collaboration with finance to provide visibility and management of investment spend.
  • Ensure routine alignment with the Program Management Office driving enterprise expectations.
  • Drive, collaborate and influence high-performing, diverse technology and functional teams across planning, delivery, and operations.
