About The Position

Were a venture-backed technology company building a large-scale SaaS platform that supports high-volume, mission-critical workloads for customers around the world. Our platform serves as the backbone for multiple product lines and processes millions of requests per day. As we continue to scale, were investing in senior engineering leadership to ensure our platform remains reliable, performant, and easy for product teams to build on. Were looking for a VP Engineering – Platform / Infrastructure to lead the teams responsible for our core platform, shared services, and infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, execution, and people leadership, and works closely with product, security, and executive leadership. Youll own the systems that enable our product teams to move quickly without sacrificing reliability or scalability.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a VP Engineering or senior platform/infrastructure leader
• Strong background in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
• Experience leading teams working with AWS, GCP, or Azure at scale
• Hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling
• Experience operating high-availability, high-throughput systems
• Strong people leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Infrastructure Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead platform, infrastructure, and SRE organizations
• Own architecture and execution for shared services and core systems
• Partner with product and application leaders on platform roadmaps
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance across distributed systems
• Establish standards for cloud architecture, APIs, and service ownership
• Drive best practices around CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automation
• Build and develop senior engineering leaders and managers
