About The Position

The Director of Content Strategy is responsible for developing and managing Calamos's content framework across all products, channels and formats. Reporting to the Product and Marketing Team, this role is responsible for strategic oversight of the content library, ensuring our content is brand consistent, high impact and competitive versus peers. This position requires expertise in content strategy and design, strong knowledge of investment concepts, channel expertise and exceptional organizational capabilities. This individual will support Product and Channel marketing by advising on content effectiveness and focusing on alignment across client touchpoints.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 7+ years of work experience in the asset management industry with strong product knowledge.
  • Familiarity with investment products, strategies, and capital markets concepts.
  • Broad industry knowledge with understanding of content and marketing trends.
  • Proficiency with marketing technology platforms, including large language model (LLM) tools (e.g., Claude), sales enablement systems (e.g., Seismic) and other digital marketing solutions.
  • Strong project management and process orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple content workstreams simultaneously, coordinate across teams and deliver materials on deadline.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with ability to create clear, accurate, and persuasive product content.
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy and Innovation Develop and maintain a best-in-class content framework across all formats including web, presentations, sales ideas, videos, emails and emerging channels.
  • Stay current with content trends and innovations across the asset management industry.
  • Identify new content types, formats and delivery mechanisms that will differentiate Calamos from competitors.
  • Enforce content standards and guidelines that ensure consistency, quality and brand alignment across all materials and channels.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Channel Marketing to align content strategy with campaign objectives, product launches and distribution priorities.
  • Content Management Oversee the organization and accessibility of the firm's content library, ensuring materials are current, easy to locate and optimized for various audiences and use cases.
  • Ensure content consistency and freshness across all delivery channels.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Lead standardization and improvement projects for marketing materials, coordinating with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Distribution and Compliance to support execution.
  • Performance Measurement Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure content usage, effectiveness and impact across channels.
  • Analyze content performance data to identify high-performing materials and areas requiring optimization.
  • Create reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights to Product and Marketing leadership on content effectiveness.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously refine content strategy and resource allocation.
