About The Position

As VP, Digital & Social Account Lead, you are the senior leader responsible for defining and driving digital and social media strategy for a marquee music client while owning the overall client relationship and day-to-day team leadership. You operate at the intersection of strategy, culture, and execution. You advise senior client stakeholders on digital ecosystem planning, platform strategy, content innovation, and audience growth, while ensuring flawless delivery across all work streams. You are accountable for both the quality of thinking and the health of the business. This role requires equal strength in digital strategy, client leadership, and operational oversight.

Requirements

  • Proven experience advising senior stakeholders on social and digital transformation
  • Strong track record of managing and growing high-value accounts
  • Experience mentoring and developing senior account team members

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of comprehensive digital and social strategies aligned to business, brand, and commercial objectives
  • Advise senior client stakeholders on platform evolution, audience growth, content ecosystems, paid and organic integration, and emerging technology
  • Translate cultural trends, fan behavior, and platform innovation into actionable strategic roadmaps
  • Ensure all work ladders to measurable KPIs including engagement, growth, conversion, and revenue impact
  • Drive innovation across reactive moments, tentpole campaigns, always-on programming, and creator partnerships
  • Serve as the senior day-to-day client lead and primary point of accountability
  • Build trusted relationships with marketing, digital, and executive stakeholders
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, strategic presentations, and forward planning conversations
  • Anticipate client needs, proactively identify growth opportunities, and guide decision-making
  • Manage contract scope, commercial health, and revenue growth across the account
  • Oversee the cross-functional client team including strategy, creative, production, paid media, and analytics
  • Ensure seamless collaboration and clear accountability across all disciplines
  • Manage workflows, resourcing, and delivery timelines to maintain operational excellence
  • Mentor Account Directors and Managers while fostering strong team culture and performance standards
  • Maintain visibility into day-to-day activities while elevating the team toward long-term strategic thinking
  • Own account revenue targets, forecasting, and profitability
  • Identify opportunities to expand digital services, social capabilities, and integrated offerings
  • Lead scope evolution, renewals, and growth planning conversations
  • Partner with agency leadership on new business opportunities related to digital and social expertise
